The problem is, Google requires an auto-focusing camera in order to use this app. That means I can't use it on my iPod touch 4. It also means the new iPad won't be able to use it. The Galaxy Tab on the other hand can use it, as with most of the newer smartphones.

The iPad 1 (3G) has both GPS and a digital compass. Has it been removed from the iPad 2?
