Seems very unlikely that I've got a solution to a tech problem, being the resident tech idiot - but have you tried Calibre ?

(Unless these PDFs are some specialized type, that isn't compatible, that is.)

I've just loaded a PDF on my PRS through Calibre easily, to my surprise, see thread ......
