Under Apps it won't say Kindle, it will be that string of numbers or something like it in your folders. I had to click each one until I found the one that corresponded with my Kindle app. I am assuming that number is different for each person's Kindle for Iphone app. Hope this helps.
Still getting the same error message from before and I know I have a DRM free book because Calibre would not convert it if it wasnt'.
JUST TO BE CLEAR: The only file I am copying into my ebook folder under Iphone Folders is the .mobi file, nothing else. Am I suppose to be adding any type of opf file (metadata file) in addition to the .mobi file?
There are three pre-loaded books already on my Kindle for iphone app and I noticed that in addition to the mobi file there is another file with an extension of MBP which looks like it could be a metadata file of some type.

I don't have a folder 'user'. What operating system are you using?
When I was able to get it to work, I just added the .mobi file. Now it won't work on either of my computers. It does seem buggy doesn't it.
