Heh heh - Kobo's "Related Reading" engine is a little flakey. Along with a couple other Malcolm Macdonald books, it suggests as the first one you may want to examine:
The effect of improper valve setting on the economy of a simple Corliss engine
(one of the authors of this paper is Malcolm S MacDonald)

So if you like epic family saga tales, you may be interesting in setting valves on Corliss engines!
