okay. here goes the rant.
the people next door are the rightful owners of a number of karaoke discs of all kinds of scraps. They sing and sing and sing for like, 9 to 5?? and have I mentioned that they have night shift, too?  I never enjoy hearing bad voice speaking, leave alone horrible voice singing and the songs! they are cheap and awfully sung >"< I cannot even get my mind function

Well there is always wyndslash's solution and get a new mattress, although that can be expensive, maybe a good set of noise canceling headphones?
