Hi from Akron, Ohio

Hello! I'm hoping to become the first-time owner of an ereader soon

In my ereader searches this forum kept popping up, so it seemed like a good idea to join and hopefully benefit from everyone else's experience and knowledge.

I've been doing so much reading and research about ereaders I feel like my head is spinning! But here is what I keep coming back to, for what it's worth: I just want to be able to download and read library books in a font and on a screen that's comfortable for my old eyes. Holding heavy, large print hard back books is hard with herniated discs.

I don't need a wireless connection or browser. I don't (think I need or) want a color screen. I want something that's easily portable and fairly sturdy. I'm left-handed, so I need flexibility with orientation (I guess that's what I mean ).

So I keep coming back to the PocketBook 360. It seems to be affordable, simple, flexible, and really all I need for what I want. Thoughts?

Any and all comments and suggestions are welcome!!
