Personally I don't care but I do know that some publishers are taking ebook cover art seriously. Ender's Game has a special cover only found on the ebook that is pretty nice.
You can see the cover art. You can choose to move to the cover and see the art or you can move the joystick to the right when you are on that book and it will show you the cover and options for what to do with the book, add/remove from collection, remove from device, and read are the available options that I can think of off the top of my head. So if there is a cover attached to the ebook you can see it.
