Smile New Kindle Owner/Magazine & Newspaper Junkie

I just bought a Kindle yesterday after months of proclaiming I had no desire for one. I am a newspaper copy editor and read on average 10-15 daily papers, 20 blogs, and several other RSS feeds of a wide variety of content I find interesting each day...all via Google Reader on my Android phone. The battery life of my phone is killing me, and I must charge it at least twice daily and carry a charger with me everywhere. So I bought a Kindle.

I am hoping to find these daily papers and blogs (e.g. TechCrunch and Kiplinger) that I love and not have to use the Kindle for books only and rely on my phone for news/editorial content.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? If I cannot accomplish this, I have a feeling the Kindle will be returned to Best Buy within the next 29 days.

I look forward to interacting with you all. On first impression, this seems to be a great, active, and highly organized forum!
