Hi, I live in Rome and finally could get my PRS-505.
It's not sold in Italy, so I had to ask a friend to buy and send it to me.
It's a pretty device.
Soon I discovered that I cannot buy ebooks from the Sony site, but thanks to this community I came to know of libprs500. I really could not ask for more. I started to look for LIT ebooks and in just one day I could upload 10 books to ease my trips to work on the underground. It takes more than one hour to get to work and I am lucky. It's a time I can dedicate to this activity and the two hours are well spent. I hope I won't get a job near to my house, because I should give up reading for such a long time everyday.
I purchased a reading device for many reasons: I can avoid taking heavy books with me, I can save trees ensuring wood to be used for different purposes (I am building an experimental aircraft!
). I can take advantage of the huge mass of free contents on the web.
