My first doughnut day...and on my side of the date line just minutes away!
Though.... 'taint many donuts in this part of town at midnight. None.
We just got a brand spankin' new McDonalds in the middle of town yesterday that everyone wrote nasty letters to the papers about. (Mainly pretesting litter and traffic jams) I think I'll celebrate DOUGHNUT DAY on the way to work at the McCafe. Do you have McCafes where you are? Sort of a Cafe attached to he store but a arms length. But you need an a longer arm to shield you from the screaming kids in the play tunnels they build right inside the building. (Want pictures?)
PS. A traffic jam in Picton Australia consists of three or more cars that can't enter the main street for more than a couple of minutes during the busy times because we haven't installed traffic signals at a cost of several hundred thousand dollars. If we do, it will mean sitting at red lights in the slow traffic period watching no traffic going the other way.
Perhaps I'll cc this the the town manager. Yep I will.
