Just a quick comment about memory.
Even when the Xoom probably is and will feel faster, the RAM won't tell the whole story. If the Os handles the apps better, you barely notice that. An example:Windows vs Lubuntu. On same machine with same RAM, Lubuntu is way much faster because the way it uses memory.
Apple Os is not truly multitasking which helps the iPad when running apps on it, gives more "air" to the whole system. Of course, not saying Honeycom is bad, but all those fancy GUIs don't come free, they use lot of resources.
