Well, just to follow the friendly suggestion: hello! I ended up here via a google search for kindle forums, as I got a kindle for my birthday. What I'm looking for at the moment is 1) a way of copying text easily from say, an index at the back of a book, so that I can quickly do a search for copied terms; 2) some nifty PC-based (read: Windoz) that would enable me to manage the content on my kindle in the same manner as MS ActiveSync does for my PDA. I'll be looking for these issues in the FAQ area; if somebody wants to beat me to it, however, feel free!!
