I was rebel, non-respectful, lazy, mendacious, indifferent, spoiled and dishonest. I practically hated my elders, except my grandfather that spoiled me in any possible way.
With time I found that I like the kids, more and more while I grow older. I find kind words for them. So the other day, when one kid was pushed by his friends against the metro train that had not stopped yet - actually was still going - I told him that we all risked to be late for his stupidity, I said this with a kind voice and a smile. And when we were all inside, I went to him and to his friends and again told them that they were pieces of ... but with manners, very kindly. Smiling while bobbing my head. They were both embarrassed and pleased to be so well appreciated. My build contributes in these situation.
Helped me a lot to read the books about the girl with the tattoo. Actually, since reading the books I look at that sort with curiosity, even sympathy. I look at them openly, without staring - I know how to be cool - but with interest. If someone has some pieces of metal stuck in his mouth and he speaks, I look at him and try to mimic his lips movements. Sometime they look back at me and smile. I smile back and send friendly facial expressions.
