2) have all that info at the bottom all at once -and stay there?
I'd prefer all the info, but I think most people probably don't want that much "clutter".
I realllllly dislike having the percentage only showing all the time, and poor me doesn't want to be traumatized by having to hit Menu every time I want to see any info  .

I believe, at the moment, you are stuck with the way 3.1 displays or does not display that info. Maybe someone will create a hack.
I think there was a thread about it a bit ago and it maybe down the list somewhere or you can start a new one.
I guess you can also write to Amazon and suggest what is liked or not liked about this firmware.
