OK .... so the chinese version can:t get shell access, ... but can be updated to european IDS? if it is updated, does that mean after update it can get shell access?
If so, ... then hardware wise it makes no difference which one it is?
or if not, ... how do I tell the difference between a european iliad and a chinese one on european IDS? ... since some people change them, ... what if I come across a used iliad?
I:m in japan right now. I:m thinking about going to that big famous electronics market whatever it:s called. I don:t know what I:ll find there, ... chinese ones or european one:s or nothing at all or who knows what... being japan, I might not be able to tell if it:s a chinese or european version just by the price (if they have them here at all). I want to buy something though. I don:t want to get something inferior just out of some software issue though.
