Considering that domestication was done on the order of 10,000 years ago by hunter-gatherers who didn't have the luxury of being picky what they ate as long as it wasn't poisonous, the first guy had probably had much worse things to eat than milk. And animal milk was probably being drank sporadically long before cattle (and sheep, and goats, and camels, and alpaca...) domestication-- pity the first man (or woman) to attempt milking a woolly rhinoceros.
