I think that most people who claim to be boycotting on principle are actually boycotting because they don't like paying the higher prices. If the agency 5 set new book prices at $8.99, MR would be full of people boycotting Amazon because of how Amazon ripped them off for years with its $9.99 pricing, and would be praising Agency pricing because it cuts out the middleman.
