I often wonder how people took their dogs for a walk, baby out in a pram/pushchair/went shopping - in the days before mobile phones - a good many people lead their lives with a phone clamped to one ear.
One young woman paying for her shopping was simultaneously packing bags/playing coo-coo with baby in trolley/paying with chip&pin all while holding a conversation on her iphone which was firmly clamped between her ear and shoulder (it would not have taken much for the phone to have fallen to the floor - then I wonder what her priorities would have been
