I'd have to say no to the touchscreen. That's just one more thing to drain the battery that much quicker. If you want touchscreen, I suggest buying a phone/device that supports the Kindle App.
I would like to see the keyboard buttons have an extra layer of lamination or clear plastic so that the letters and symbols don't wear off. I've only had the kindle 3 months now and I'm already noticing the arrows are fading on the 5-way d pad. I would also enjoy seeing a plastic shield of some sorts to help protect the screen.
I would like to see what amazon did in the Kindle App which was allow color mode (i.e. black background/white text, sepia background/black text, etc).
