I've been trying to figure out Calibre for a while. Sounds like it's a wonderful program & I surely need something to put some order into my Sony library metadata.
I've just realized tonight that it is just not "seeing" my Sony. I took the radical step of actually reading the manual tonight & even though I've walked through the Welcome Wizard & carefully selected my Sony Daily Reader, when I plug my Reader into my laptop (which I've had no problem otherwise recognizing my reader even though my Windows 7 desktop won't) and open up Calibre nothing happens. I can download books into CAlibre off the Internet, but I can't see the fuller (including purchased) content of my reader.

Can someone suggest what might possibly be the problem here? Many thanks.
