My iPad replaced a much-loved portable laptop that completely gave up the ghost. The fact that it was so light was one of its many charms and even though I have a 17-inch workhorse laptop that I use for work, portability is not in its job description!

The iPad completely works for what I need it for - browsing, e-mails, shopping, watching videos. It is light, a breeze to use and the picture quality is magnificent. I took way too long in deciding to buy it and could kick myself for waiting so long.

I have not used it for any book-reading yet, maybe due to the fact that I also really enjoy my Kindle. But for everything else it has been aces and I am extremely pleased with it!
