Since they never ask for your real name (image shows the required fields for registration), I don't think they are all that concerned, and for them to go after you for registering a false passport number would cost more than it's worth.
I know someone that was denied re-entry into Canada for 5 years because she forgot to pay for a packet of chewing gum.
