As I hold you in great esteem as well.

Haruki Murakami is a fantastic writer, I've read all of the books of his that I could get my hands on. I would perhaps start with Norwegian Wood - it's different from his other works, but perhaps the most accessible. Also try "The Wind-up Bird Chronicle" and for short stories, "The Elephant Vanishes" (L'elefante scomparso e altri racconti). I hope you enjoy them!
