As far as e-ink, I don't find any wonders. E-ink causes me horrid eye strain unless I'm in an overly well lit area and I had e-ink devices prior to the iPad.
I love my iPad. I can read books, watch a Netflix, play some games, do email, browse the web, etc.

I got my ipad pretty cheap second hand. sell it?! well, let's not go too overboard.
I'm always mystified when somebody says they prefer the LCD on the ipad to e-ink. I mean, how did you ever manage books before? E-ink is the closest we've got to actual paper.
I'm not being sarcastic, just having trouble understanding that.
as far as watching netflix, playing games, email, etc... these things are part of the reason I don't like it. I don't need any more distractions. when I sit down to read, I just want to read and not do all these other things.
