I admit that I exaggerated a bit, I was just tired
but I seriously don't think that the life of a 12th grader is any happier than that of a worker bee
When I was a 12th grader, I was studying *like there were no tomorrow*. All 12th graders have to study hard in order to win a seat in a university. The university entrance test is truly a burden for
everyone in my country, it is bloody difficult! The candidates are worried about failing the exams, their parents are worried too, and the whole society is worried if the results are bad:
- "What's wrong with the youth?? Our education system needs a reform"
Yeah, something like that would be on the first page. Many people think that university is the only way to go after graduation from high school. So there is over 1 mil of students and people apply for the entrance test every year. Therefore the test must be difficult to kick 85% of them out of the university gate.
I should post this in the vent & rant thread, shouldn't I?
