I can see your beef. I no longer engage in messing with the heads of telemarketers, although when I was younger, I pulled more than my share of pranks. Now I simply look at it as some person who needs a job, and in a tight job market, you take what you can get. I also realize now that many who take such jobs are handicap and have a difficult time finding other work, so when I get a call these days, I simply inform them that I'm not interested. If they persist, I say I'm really not interested and hang up.
