DRM is a joke to the dishonest and a downright insult to the honest. In fact, it even encourages the honest to sometimes commit a petty crime because -- although illegal -- they feel that stripping DRM is morally justified.

I couldn't agree more, Neil. As both an author and a reader, I feel strongly that DRM is just bad business. It does nothing to stop the darknet, but makes it difficult or technically illegal for legitimate paid readers to have fair use of the product they bought.
