Hi affa

The 500 is quite an old model so it may not recognise the newer formats, specifically epub. Also the book may have DRM, which may require additional software to download it. If your file is an acsm file, then you can open it with Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) and then transfer to your reader.

Can you tell us a bit more about your problem, ie book format, where you purchased it, how you have been trying to transfer it?
