this is daft - either have apply defaults to all formats or have a full blown, separate epub defaults screen

preprocessing used to be like this - 1 rule for epub , different rules for everything else, but that got sorted.

I think that now, the "epub default" rule take precedence if I select a bunch of books in multiple formats & apply removed saved preferences. At that stage I have not indicated what format I plan to convert From, so it is logical to expect the real defaults to be applied.

take my current example of a dozen books, currently in lit & epub, where I want to rerun the lit to epub conversions using my current default preferences - I don't want the program deciding for me that those books do not need paginating, when I know that they do!
