I am guessing that is pretty close to what many people spend on their soft drinks a month. So not all that expensive.
The one tea pot I bought for myself I bought on a 50% sale and ended up getting 50% off my tea order as well as the tea pot. I actually saved myself money as my total order came out to less then I would normally spend on tea. I even super sized that order when I realized that I would be getting 50% off of my tea.
That sounds very familiar to me if you substitute 'books' for 'tea'

I guess the typing up of the several methods to steep the tea will take more time than the actual steeping itself. It does sound complicated: .....degrees and ...minutes. But I love to hear all about it.
Yesterday I had a visitor and she wanted tea; I just casually asked: ' loose leaves or in a bag?' , ' green, white or black?' Thank God she didn't call my bluff as I was planning to just rip a teabag open for the ' loose leaves'. She told me ' any' so I just gave her my daughters Celestial Seasons Tangerine, I think.

Maybe cold arabica tea that on Friday night becomes white wine with a dash of seltzer. Did you have spitzer's when you were in Milano?
I' m considering drinking more champagne. A good dry champagne drinks easily, leaves no aftertaste, drunkness or headache. And I like it; any time of the day
