Just as a side comment: There was an initiative, headed by Charles if I remember correctly, to integrate Aldiko with Calibre (there was talk of things like putting books directly into the Aldiko database and such). However, due to lack of interest from Aldiko developers and lack of donations toward testing hardware, that project died.
