To Marcor: after reading your comprehensive review, I have bought the Sensible stylus, and I agree with your description of it. (I'm posting this to provide MobileRead users with more information about using a stylus with the DR-900.)
A finger works much better (a very light touch is sufficient to trigger a response from the touch screen), but it's also bigger; the stylus, instead, requires to apply some pressure on the screen, but it doesn't smear the surface and allows for finer positioning. For instance, using the sketching application with the Sensible stylus has proved to be nearly impossible (you get lines with wide gaps). The stylus has a soft tip, so it's unlikely (I hope) that damage to the screen will result from the pressure.
So it seems that to highlight words, make annotations, or use the virtual keyboard (which has fairly small keys) the stylus is the best compromise; while for everything else, including everyday reading, a finger (and occasional screen wiping, if you -like me- are a bit fanatic) is better.
