I'm going with one of two possibilities: either he's using Babelfish to translate what may (or may not, heh) make perfect sense in his native language, or it's performance "art".

I'm tempted to send some of these posts to my old literature professor; he'd have great fun watching his poetry students try to grok these! "Ah, clearly Borders is an allusion to the 6th century dynasty of..."
