Hmmm. The other thing that has made me leery of updating my Kindle is that when they pushed out 3.01, I couldn't read outside any more presumably because it would overheat in the sunlight (because they had the CPU running faster?).

They fixed this in 3.02, but it's something I'm worried about them breaking again (as I do a lot of reading outside when it's nice out). And since it's winter, still, there probably haven't been too many people reading outside...so maybe the problem is back, just not as obvious because of the time of year
