I met her in a club down in old Soho
Where you drink champagne
It tastes just like Coca Cola, C-O-L-A cola
She walked up to me and she asked me to dance
I asked her her name and in a dark brown voice
She said Lola, L-O-L-A, Lola, L-L-Lola
Well, I'm not the world's most physical guy
But when she squeezed me tight she nearly broke my spine
Oh my Lola, L-L-Lola

Wednesday... "Hump Day".... middle... should mean we can either go forward or back... I don't think I want to go back to Tuesday...
Anyway... a new morning starting off with a big mug of Taylors of Harrogate's English Breakfast tea, rice and tsukemono, and a bowl of miso soup. Going to see if I can ride up to the tea gardens today. The weather is warm and I don't want to miss the chance. I know it's going to get cold again before Spring officially begins.

How about Ahmad? I've been drinking that and it's pretty good!

That was the favorite drink of my parents. Neither were heavy drinkers, but did enjoy a glass or two over the weekends and at parties. I tried Tanqueray back then (perhaps 25 years ago) but didn't like it. But I know that my tastes have changed over the years so I really should try it again.

You are the only person I've met who actually drinks more than me! Sometimes I fear that you might drown!

My cast iron tea pot can handle 18 ounces and has its own basket infuser.
While cast iron pots are seen all over, I've read some Teaists who say that after infusing teas in them for several months, they get a coating of resin inside that is difficult to remove and affects the taste of the tea. They can only remove it by putting their kettles into a fireplace and burning them red hot for a while. Washing didn't seem to do the trick. Do you find this also?

I've seen this residue on the insides of glass tea kettles, and it's hard enough to scrape it off glass. It must be next to impossible to get it off cast iron.

Me too! Me too! I couldn't put them down! In fact, I've been holding off watching the movies because I'm afraid they won't do justice to the books! I have formed mental images of each character and to see actors who look different will also change my feelings. Great, great reads!

I think that I will switch teas for my second mug. I'm going with some China Black from McNultey's. That will really kick-start my morning!
