Given that she is not tech savy and in Sweden I would go with a Sony 350 or 650. Sony's have a decent presence in Europe and I am guessing that there is a Sony store that she can use in Sweden. B&N does not have a presence in Sweden so it would probably be more difficult for her to get help is she was having problems with her e-reader.
