You're kidding, right?!
Amazon is
supposed to know the name of your registered Kindle. It's how they keep multiple devices registered to the same account separate. The name is how YOU choose which device you're buying/sending the ebook for/to --
especially when you're downloading the file to your PC and side-loading it.
If it's that big of a deal to you, I suggest deregistering the device from your account entirely. Or better yet, returning it for a device that
has no wireless capabilities.
