Whe had an economics class at college. Let's just say: I made it. No idea how. I think as we were the last ones (as the entire curriculum was completely changed around), the teacher didn't want to make extra exams, which he would have had to do if people failed it...

My father was highly disappointed in me because I absolutely didn't want to do anything with economics or finance. He even said so in my face (that was after I dropped out of university and went to a "
university of applied sciences", which is apparently the official english term of the education I finished...).
But I ignored him and finished my computer science and information technology diploma.... I think it sounds better anyway!

Hmm, I did marry an amateur astronomer, and I'm one myself (we actually met at the first-year's camp at the start of the school year at university where we were going to study astronomy
