I am saddened by my borders (Camp Hill, Pa) closing. Both borders and b&n are within 10 minutes from my home but when it comes to books Borders has always been my 1st stop. Mainly because they have an actual horror section, my fave genre. The staff in this particular store has always been extremely helpful to me when I have need to ask anything of them. Once the store closes its doors I am in the quandry of going to B&N or driving 25 minutes to one of the two borders remaining open.
As for the earlier comment about the company using a 3rd party to liquidate, most companies do that. I was one of the unfortunate ones left in the dirt by circuit city and left before they started the liquidation
