See, this is what I can't figure out. My SD card seems to drain the battery even if I am reading off the main memory. Of course, the Reader loads the contents from the SD card when I insert it, so maybe that's why?
I have a few other SD cards to try (maybe they're newer). I'm assuming from what HarryT said that I should turn the Reader completely off when I have an SD card inserted and am not using the Reader.
I really wish I could copy a book from my SD card to the Reader as I can with my PDA. That way, I could carry my library of e-books w/o having to keep the SD card inserted.
