I have already tested this with another mobileread member in Europe. We discovered:
a- It works.
b- Once one of us uses the .acsm file, the other cannot download the book, i.e. each .acsm file can only be used with one copy of ADE.
I'm sure there are those that will sit and try and find everything wrong and say this is immoral. It's taking out a library book temporarily and on an exchange basis. You take something out of my library that isn't available in yours and vice versa. It has all the same restrictions as if the original person had taken out the book, including the time restriction.
The only possible moral negative I see is the argument that the book now is temporarily unavailable to other library patrons. If we agree to avoid books with long waitlists this shouldn't be an issue.
