I had an awesome lunch today! I don't often buy pre-prepared food, but the other day in Costco some "spinach pancakes" begged to come home with me. they go under the broiler and get nicely crunchy. I had them with some tzatziki, hummus with red pepper, some grape tomatoes and walnuts. awesome! I think I am going to have to learn how to make them!

I was in this youth-club. We walked every saturday about 10 miles in cute uniforms: white skirts and blazers white/red. We were with several walking-clubs, nationwide; transported in a bus to some city and away we went. We always got a medal as well. I still have those.
After that walk we had to sell ballpoints/ agenda's door to door; to finance the club.(I hated that). Only then we would get some soda (luxury) and even better: chips with that blue packet of salt. Never seen it since.
Volksmarch medals! I still have some! I have a feeling we didn't have the same type of chips here
