The modern, well adjusted person must always be a mix of masculine and feminine. The Tao teaches us that in order to be complete and in harmony with the universe, there must be both black and white, each being a compliment of the other. Within the Black there must be a touch of white. Within the White there must be a touch of black. Black, white, male, female, good, evil, yes, no, up, down... So to answer your question; Is beppe male or female? The answer can only be ... yes.
