Boxcorner: sorry I'm so late in getting back to you. When I clicked the link in the second email I chose the .doc format which downloaded to my desktop. When I opened this, it happily opened in Word, giving all the details of my account.
I received the card today. I wished they'd included a leaflet concerning what to do next. Unfortunately, I randomly chose a library I used to know, which is tiny; I hope this won't affect the choice of books. From what I've read here, it's a central ebook library run from some anonymous computer.
I'm sure my little brain will work it out. If there are any books to borrow, that is!
