The only reason why I got the DX was to read books on a large screen, and it does this well. If you want another reader with a large screen, you will have to go with a different brand, but kindle is still the best available over 9 inches.
Crying about it and going down to 6 inch screen doesn't solve the problem. Sure you can get more features, but all you get is more features... and a smaller screen... maybe some small amount of money... oh and less tears.
