I was in this youth-club. We walked every saturday about 10 miles in cute uniforms: white skirts and blazers white/red. We were with several walking-clubs, nationwide; transported in a bus to some city and away we went. We always got a medal as well. I still have those.
After that walk we had to sell ballpoints/ agenda's door to door; to finance the club.
(I hated that). Only then we would get some soda (luxury) and even better: chips with that blue packet of salt. Never seen it since.
