But do not worry. It will pass. And it is not that important. On forums like this with nicknames and avatars, gender might be considered a volatile attribute. It is a possible entry in Personal Page, About Me. Nothing more, with 3 cases, zilch, M or F, that's the order they put in the drop down, and it is not in alphabetic order, blast.
Personally, my virtual self can be anything my friends want me to be.
In real world (although the virtual is very real in itself), the irrelevance of gender in general in the aspects of life is an issue that I share with most of my real life friends, and few virtual friends. In personal interactions (what E. M. Forster calls
intercourse, while what we call
intercourse he refers to as
