I've had a Nook for quite a while, and just bought a DX because I do read a lot of pdfs and the small screen just doesn't cut it for a lot of those. But the pdfs I plan to read on the DX are mostly work-related--the DX will let me keep my research with me all the time. I'll still use the Nook for pleasure reading, but the DX will fill a valuable role for me.
