EDIT: ahh I found this picture, mine looks nearly the same with pointed core 'cause the units are triangulars instead of trapezoidals.

Okay. It's still one of the five convex regular polyhedra. It just uses a different construction technique.
There are four more regular polyhedra known as "star" or Kepler-Pionsot polyhedrons:
