Post Prevent duplication of Table of Contents

Hello. I've been creating books for my kindle using epub as medium in between which as far as I can see is the best to retain the tiniest formatting. Ok, I've used MS word and created my TOC which is great and saved to epub. Now my epub file has a TOC. In calibre when I've converted the file to mobi, there are two TOCs, the one I created and Calibre's autogenerated TOC. I was wondering how to disable the autogeneration of the TOC and still have a link to my original TOC which I created in word. Like when using Mobipocket creator, I can create a bookmark like #toc and later reference that in Mobipocket creator and will automatically provided a connection to that page when it has created the mobi book.
Possibly the answer should be obvious and I will appreciate a standard reply.
